Prematch Surebets: Time to Verify Before You Bet
Before a match, lines move less, so a surebet lives longer and leaves time to check both books' settlement rules. Dozor shows prematch and live on one screen.
A prematch surebet is a line discrepancy on a match that hasn't started yet. It lasts longer than a live surebet because before the game bookmakers rarely move their odds: after large bets, lineup news and an analyst's re-assessment. In exchange, prematch surebets appear less often and more often run into settlement rules and limits.

What to check before a prematch surebet
- Market settlement rules. Map vs. match total rounds, overtime, forfeits, map replays. Two books settle these differently, and a surebet on paper turns into two ordinary bets.
- Lineup and format. Bo1, Bo3, Bo5 and roster changes move the line at one book before the other. The discrepancy may not be an error but fresh news the second book hasn't priced in yet.
- Limits. At many bookmakers, the maximum stake on a second-tier match is small. Check the stakes from the calculator against both books' limits.
- Line errors. An ROI above 10% in prematch is almost always an error. The bookmaker is entitled to settle a bet on it at odds of 1.

Can I work with prematch only?
Yes, the start-time filter leaves only matches that haven't started yet. The volume of surebets is noticeably lower than in live.
What is a cross-line total surebet?
